Your Responsibilities

As a nurse, you have a leading role in nursing and planning work for which you are responsible. In this role, you are expected to independently, in collaboration and in the care relationship with the patient, be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team where you work broadly and variably. Your responsibilities include:

• assessing the patient's health status through both the patient's subjective experiences and objective data. The patient's care needs are identified and prioritized based on an analysis of the patient's needs, resources, and areas for development.
• planning care in the short and long term based on established goals in the patient's overall care and treatment.
• implementing both nursing actions and actions prescribed by other professionals.
• evaluating the patient's health status against set goals in collaboration with other professionals.
• documenting performed nursing actions in the patient's journal and reviewing medical records and other documentation to create continuity in the patient's care and treatment.

We offer onboarding and mentorship on the ward as well as three full days of introduction in our training facilities on the hospital grounds. During these three days, you will gain the fundamental knowledge you need from various professions to perform well in your role, together with other new employees.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and who has a genuine interest in psychiatric care and the person behind the crime. It is an advantage if you:

• have specialized training in psychiatry.
• have work experience from another field within psychiatry.
• master more languages than Swedish.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be solution-focused, able to plan and prioritize your work, and feel confident working both independently and in a team. Communication and documentation are central parts of the job, so good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
